Educational trivia

it's tradition.

Rooted in tradition and grown from the same fields for more than 27 years, the Greendale Corn Maze has become a seasonal ritual for families across the Fraser Valley. What began as a simple idea has grown into a harvest tradition where generations gather to explore, play, and create memories together.

Join us August to October as we celebrate the season with the corn maze, farm experiences, seasonal food, live entertainment, and the traditions that have shaped Greendale Acres for decades.

got corn?

2026 season design

For more than 26 years, the Greendale Corn Maze has marked the arrival of summer in the Fraser Valley. This year's GOT CORN? maze invites families to wander through acres of towering corn, discover interactive challenges, and celebrate the season together.

More than a maze, it's a summer tradition rooted in family, farming, and the simple joy of getting lost together.

our story

In 1999, the Bruinsma’s and Taekema’s opened up the first corn maze in Canada. Our Dad, John Bruinsma, is the person behind the corn maze dream.

In 1997, he read a magazine article about a young student who set up a corn maze in Utah to help families experience farm life in a fun way.

In 1999, we became the first corn maze in Canada and the rest is history.
We are so proud of the incredible legacy this simple concept has created in our community.

25 year anniversary

This year’s maze design is a celebration of the relationships and memories that have been made on the farm and in the community over the last 25 years.

The winding road leading to the barn symbolizes a simple idea: no matter where life takes you, there will always be a place to come home to.
